Week 4 Thoughts
Another heartbreaking loss for the Cowboy fans of the world. I could not believe that they could not move the ball five more yards to win the game. The offense did not look as sharp as it usually is. The offensive line played like complete shit. It seemed like Bledsoe never had any time to throw. Julius did not have a stellar game either. I can’t stop obsessing over the opening play of the game either. The Cowboys know that they have a slow secondary, yet they don’t move a few steps back and they allow a 78-yard pass to Randy Moss. This was also the first time in 14 games that the Cowboys have allowed a 100-yard rusher (too bad the Jets didn’t keep Lamont Jordan). The Cowboys defense is just too young and inexperienced to really be a dominant defense. On another note, the special teams sucked again. Jose Cortez did not miss any field goals, but he did bank one in off the post and the punt/kickoff coverage seemed non-existent. It seems as if we are headed for another year of .500 football. The really scary thing for me right now is that the Cowboys are in last place.
The Giants and the Redskins look pretty good. How did the Giants score 44 points? Please don’t tell me that Eli Manning is actually going to be as good as his brother. The Redskins got lucky again in over time. I think their luck will run out pretty soon. So, those division games for the Cowboys are really going to make all the difference in their record. Anyway, enough of that. The Pats lost to the Chargers, much to my surprise. Maybe this is the year the Pats will fall off. The Colts seem to be the rightful successors at 4-0. On another note, Brooks Bollinger seemed to play some decent football for the Jets, too bad Curtis Martin only rushed for 30 yards. They might have won if he put up somewhere around 80. The Eagles pulled off a comeback win, much to my disappointment. Cincinnati also improved to 4-0.
In college football the USC Trojans seemed as if they were toying with Arizona State. The Sun Devils took an early and large lead. USC came back in the third quarter and won the game with ease. Notre Dame also pummeled Purdue.
For those of you that do not know, I am home this weekend, so there was not a Team High Life game this week. Stay tuned for next week’s game.

Eli Manning will be good. I would say "you heard it here first," but that would be a lie.

I was heartbroken to see the ball doink off the upright on the last play of regulation in the seahawks/redskins game. Course Josh had already missed one earlier in the day so why they didn’t try a serious play to get just a bit closer I don’t know. Well - time was running out but still. Seahawks go to 2-2. The redskins played better than I anticipated they would having seen the dallas game. Good luck to them

No, not good luck to the Redskins, bad luck. They are a team that wins off of other team’s mistakes. A team can not make a season of that. Their luck will run out, I will bet on it.

Didn’t a team win three of the last four Super Bowls off of other teams’ mistakes?

Come on New England is a good team, the redskins are not.
