Week 12

The Cowboys lost yet another game because of a kicking failure. This marks the second game this year that they could have won had they made a very easy field goal. I know I had much praise for Billy Cundiff last week, but if you could not have guessed it, I am changing my praise to disappointment. How could you miss a simple 25-yard field goal and hit a 56 yarder the week before? It makes no sense. Anyway, Bledsoe did not exactly have the greatest game either. His interception that was returned for a touchdown in the Cowboys first drive could also be blamed for the loss. They were playing one of the best teams in football, but you just can’t blow games like that. The Cowboys are one of the best teams in football, they just seem to have difficulty closing out games. I see no reason why this team is not capable of winning the super bowl and any loss to any team is more then disappointing. Next week against the Giants is perhaps the most important game of the season. The winner of that game will most likely win the division. Hopefully, the Cowboys will be extra prepared with the extra rest.

The Colts managed to say undefeated, those old Dolphins players must be getting pretty nervous. The Jets lost, like their fans want them to these days. Reggie Bush a Jet? I hear the question a lot, but I just don’t see it coming true. Houston seems to be very efficient at losing games, even when they have a large lead. The Seahawks posted a nice win over the Giants, that was very much need on the Cowboys part. As Chris noted, the Bears look pretty damn good. I guess watching the old SNL Superfans episodes two weeks ago was very appropriate.

I guess that’s all I got. Stay tuned for a post of extreme joy or extreme disappointment next week.

  1. The Cowboys won’t win the Super Bowl. Nobody can stop the Colts.

  2. I watched the first five minutes of the Colts game and was pretty impressed by the 80 yard touchdown. Then I got bored and turned it off.
