Oh, sweet.

I’m ninteen years old and I have to take gym this semester.
GYM IS A REQUIRED COURSE! ABSURD!
So of course, I picked the two easiest gym classes available to me.
First half of the semester, I’m going to be bowling.
Second half of the semester, I’m going to be doing yoga. Yes.

Also, if anyone is going to be on Long Island on February 14th and likes Matchbook Romance, you can head over to Looney Tunes in W. Babylon and preorder the cd for $15. Once you preorder the cd, they give you a ticket to the show, a bracelet to pick up your cd, and if you’re one of the first 300 people at the show, you get to meet the band, get a t-shirt, a gift pack, and a valentine. This is the first Valentine’s Day I’m looking forward to in years. <3MBR

  1. Yea, two credits of gym are required at Binghamton as well. I took a two credit class called fitness and wellness. My friend was the TA and it was really easy.

  2. I had to take two semesters of gym, which was divided into six "rotations." Two of those rotations covered a mandatory "Contemporary Topics" class (fancy name for health), and for the other four, I did this running one, weightlifting, volleyball, and ice skating. It was pretty much a waste of time, imho.

Oh, and we all had to take a swim test in the beginning of the year. Ack.

  3. that weightlifting class was the highlight of my college career

  4. Jenny and I were thinking of doing weightlifting next semester. We thought it’d be funny to see two tiny girls in the gym with a bunch of football players. And yes, Nassau has its own football team.
