The Town of Poughkeepsie Police have notified us that a subject has been approaching females with long hair in the Dutchess County area stating that he is working for a Cancer support organization called “WIGS FOR KIDS”. He then attempts to get the female alone and cuts her hair before letting her go.

Subject is described as follows: White Male – 5’8” – 160 lbs
Bleach Blond Hair – short with spikes
30-35 years of age
May be using the name Jim Neighbors

Vehicle – (possible): Older, large, 4D, with round headlights – may be a Mercedes

IF APPROACHED BY THIS SUBJECT USING THE ABOVE COVER STORY LEAVE THE AREA IMMEDIATELY DO NOT ENGAGE THIS INDIVIDUAL IN CONVERSATION OR GO ANYWHERE WITH HIM

If approached on-campus call Security at X 2282 or 84 471-1822. If approached off-campus call 911.
