So for anyone who was unaware, Brand New have started releasing tour dates again. So far every single show that they’ve released has sold out at a ridiculous pace, but that could be because they’ve only released three shows as of yet.
So. Because I’m midly insane and obsessed, when pre-sale tickets for Brand New in Jersey went on sale the other day, I was completely on top of it and bought them. Shaweet. This will be the second band that I’ve ever left the state to see [we aren’t counting Boston Warped a couple years ago] and I’m ridiculously excited. It’s only a matter of time til they start talking about a Long Island show. So, if you would like to check up on Brand New’s tour dates, you can look here.
Also, Saves the Day and Circa Survive is on Friday so I’ll try to review that soon.

I saw Circa Survive at Warped Tour and they were pretty good.

Saves the Day is aaaaaamaaaaazing live. I haven’t heard any of the new stuff yet [boooo] but I’m still excited. I’m sure it’s amazing since Chris Connolly is amazing in and of himself.

One time I read an article that said Coldplay make music for people who don’t like music.
Circa Surviva make prog-rock for people who don’t like prog-rock.

They played at Nassau Coliseum last night.

I used to think Coldplay were really boring, but lately, I’ve been listening to a lot of A Rush of Blood to the Head. Parachutes is a pretty nice album, too.

circa is pretty awful no matter how you cut it. back when he was still in saosin, anthony and i would talk at shows and he seemed alright, but the dude just hasn’t been the same since.
also - it’s Conley, not Connolly.

coldplay does not rock nearly hard enough to even hint at the fact they wish they were u2.

Chris Martin has been very open about wanting to become the next U2.
