V for Vendetta
I am usually a big fan of my box and I don’t like to be outside it. V for Vendetta challenged my typical thinking and might have actually made a significant influence on me. The movie is set in the year 2020, while the US is in civil war and Brittan has become a fascist state. The main character in the movie, V (Hugo Weaving), is a political terrorist. His goal in the movie is to blow up parliament and accomplish what Guy Fawlkes could not do. His first night on the job he runs into Evey (Natalie Portman) and saves her from the secret police that catch her out past curfew. That same night V blows up a national monument. The following day he runs into Evey again and takes her into his custody to protect her from the police. Evey eventually becomes his unlikely ally. V is faced with a moral dilemma. V is doing the right thing, but at the same time he is a terrorist and he is rebelling against his own governing body. In my usual thinking I would have been a loyal citizen even though what I believed was not what my government believed. I have now come to the realization that I need to stand up for what I believe and what I want. I should not let people tell me the way things are without challenging why they are that way. So, this one is an eye opener, go check it out.

You’re in college.
It’s "Britain".
Please act as if you’ve had some sort of education.
Thank you.

WOW! You have nothing better to do then rip on me because I am not the greatest speller in the world? I do have an education and its probably a better one the you have. Do you have a 3.8 gpa? Well I do. I am very intelligent.

Oh, Sheppard. You never cease to amaze me.
Number 1. They’ve invented this lovely little thing called spellcheck in case you can’t remember how to spell words that you learned back in, what third grade? Maybe even second. Maybe you should look into that.
Number 2. Yes. I do have a 3.8 gpa. And I take cooler classes than you. And I’m not in the middle of nowhere. So obviously I win on that level.
Number 3. Maybe you are intelligent. I’ll give you that much. But what you have in intelligence, you lack in open mindedness and a SENSE OF HUMOR. Jesus Christ, lighten up for like two seconds.
Number 4. Weezer is still not the greatest band in the world.
Thank you & goodnight.

Brilliant as always, people.
Let me just say that I don’t and probably will never have a 3.8 GPA. Please stop throwing that number around. You’re making me feel sad.
By the way, now that Sheppard has seen V for Vendetta, he has left "his box."

Yea, so I just wanted to lay the law down and make it clear that I am not stupid. I might not be the best with grammar and spelling, but I have excelled in other areas. I am sorry if I got a little carried away.
I try to keep an opne mind. I listen to others opinions, however it is hard for me to just change my mind on things that I am pretty set upon.
I think I have a pretty good sense of humor. If you think I’m bad just try to have a little fun around the fun police aka Welsh.
Stop, challenging Weezer. You can’t deny their greatness.

Wow, can’t believe I missed this battle. And yeah let’s not talk about numbers cause Greg has what? a 3.2 cum and 3.1 major GPA. That makes me sad. I should change my major to something I’m good at like psych.

Pat, I love you, haha.
And I will challenge Weezer to the end of tiiiime.
