Global warming
CNN.com: “Warming ‘could bring 1930s havoc’”
For a long time, I believed in global warming but thought that the Kyoto Protocol was a little drastic and flawed. However, I was probabably just swallowing Bush’s pro-industry rhetoric.
Let’s all ride bikes and live in huts made out of mud and straw.

Nah what are you talking about, we should totally go buy 16 H2s and ride them around with that guy who writes the jurassic park books. And continue to massively overpopulate the planet by having lots of little babies and buying them hummers too! Screw the future of the planet, or really anything other than short term goals involving conspicuous consumption.
This country desperately needs better public transportation, the capitol beltway is a perfect example.

My uncle has owned several Hummers. He used to work in Manhattan, which is slightly impractical.
