America!

As of tomorrow, I’ll finally be able to watch new episodes of The Office, Scrubs, and 30 Rock without having to stay up until 4:00 a.m. for an NBC feed from California on TVU.

Happy 21st birthday, Greg. Now you can drink, and we all know how much you love alcohol. I use the word “love” very loosely here. Also, Greg, if you ever think you might be a failure to your race, just look at me, the failed engineer.

I’ve been reading some of Dave Eggers’ How We Are Hungry, and I’m not quite sure how I feel about the literary merit of his work. He seems almost too cutesy or gimmicky at times. Of course, maybe, due to his immense talent and my lowly skills, I’m just being petty and jealous. Mr. Eggers, in five years, you can laugh at me as I waste my life away working at an evil, morally reprehensible insurance company, prisoner to a miserable existence as a nameless cog in the machinery of corporate America, passive-aggressively fighting the system by adopting the personality of Jim from The Office. This is my life.

I’m thirsty.
